Christmas Music On WBUD?

It's almost time for sounds of the season. Does anyone remember when WBUD made the switch to Christmas music last year?

What I do remember is that after the New Year, the station returned to WBUD music without personalities. Shortly thereafter they switched to satellite featuring "Unforgettable Favorites."

Now it is back to WBUD music without personalities. I wonder if they will go all Christmas soon, and what the station plans for the New Year.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear a complete format change or playlist overhaul after the New Year. How long can the station go fully-automated? Maybe they are saving money by not paying DJ's, but it doesn't help their imaging. I would think they would have a hard time selling time on the station without any personalities.

Maybe they'll end up back on the bird. Any thoughts?
 
As someone who got their on-air start at WBUD, it would sure be nice to have personalities back on the station. But, I'm just one of those sentimental "good ole days" types.
