Christmas music yet???

Any stations in Philly playing Christmas music yet? Here in Central Pa we have WROZ 101.3 and WARM 103.3 playing Christmas music since last Friday.

Lucky you.

B101 has yet to pull the trigger. Nor was WJBR. 106.1 is also a remote possibility.

I'm hearing B-101 kicks off "all christmas" thanksgiving day.

I just called b101 and told them that another radio station in philly was playing all Christmas music .they asked me what one.I told them to find a radio and check around to find what one.then I ended the phone call.thinking maybe they would have just pull the trigger.but I don't think it worked.still no Christmas music.

so you essentially crank-called a radio station, told them to flip formats, and then hung up?

.... why?

Is this what Kidd Chris is doing waiting for the ink to dry on his new morning deal?

XM has Holly 103, which is a copy of Sunny's Christmas tunes, also 104 Traditional, 105 Country Christmas, 106 Standard Christmas, 107 Weird Christmas tunes and soon to be 108 Jewish Holidays....there is also Music Choice 401 for Current Christmas and 424 for Traditional Christmas music, plus XM's oldies, sunny, and their other channels will throw Christmas tunes in here and there.....well watta ya know, I did not mention 104.5, well why talk about a winner in the market, oh I just did.

I was doing some early Christmas shopping yesterday and I flipped 101.1 on just to see. They were in a commercial, when they came out the dj said that they were receiving a lot of calls about the music flip and when they were going to do it. She said not to worry, that the Christmas music was on it's way.

Unless 99.5 flips before Thursday I think the B is going to wait until Thanksgiving this year.

Don't derail this thread please

I don't think I can handle another 5 christmas music threads because each time someone posts it it goes off topic and someone feels like they have to start the conversation all over again

Trust me, B is keeping a ear on 98.1, 99.5, and 106.1, which are basically the only stations in this area that would possibly flip, altough JBR is the only one of those 3 that will. I wish OGL did, since they could do the Sunny version, not the American idol version B does and my106.1 would do.
