A reliable source told me that qfm will be kicking off Christmas Music on October 15th at midnight. I guess they want to make sure they really catch ez103 napping.
 
Me too the skiny is their going to call it frosty 92 and 100 and play all the Frosty the Snowman versions known to man. I think they are going to go after mistakes from froggy in the books. WOW this is gonna be great!! All frosty allthe time cool man. Then in November. therre gonna go deer camp 92 and 100.

but wait there is more. December is going to be all about the bruce. You got it Santa is coming to town.
Wall to Wall. Only its going to be in different languages. English,German,Polish,Slovak,even Russian.WOW this is going to be great !

I have heard from reliable sources that Lou will ask city council to ammend his ordinance to prohibit the singing or broadcasting of Christmas songs in any language other that English. (Tongue in cheek)

Seriously, Christmas music from Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Day works just fine for me. Anything more than that, and I tune out. Their advertisers have lost a potential customer.

By the way; it's CHRISTMAS music, CHRISTMAS card, CHRISTMAS tree, etc. I go out of my way to be deliberately politicall incorrect, and I don't apologize. You wouldn't like me.
 
Calling them bigots is what comes of a knee-jerk reaction from someone who likely isn't experiencing the problem.

Regarding Christmas music on QFM happening October 15th, if I was a bettin' man I'd bet no. I'd bet the ranch.

Thank you Nokmo True. I work in Hazleton. What the mayor is attempting to accomplish is not specific to one nationality. Read the ordinance. He is neither a bigot nor a racist.

In the past six years I've worked in Hazleton, I went from carrying a 9mm to a 45 Mag. Read into that what you will. There are some sections of Hazleton which remind me of North Philly. If you don't know what that area is like, go to North Wyoming Street in Hazleton. But, go with a wrecking crew. Yes, it is that bad.

If you are uninformed, please keep your opinion to yourself! Or, you could go to N. Wyoming St. alone after dark.

In fact the whole holiday is Pagan in origan it's just the church needed a reason to "take over" the pagan religion to "put it out of business". Can't make money and keep sheep following if you don't. ;)

It used to be, and still is, the festival of winter solstice. Oh, and it's not Satanic. The church invented that one too... Google it for more information.

But yes, it is nicer to see Christmas instead of Xmas expecially in September...

Actually, I'm QUITE INFORMED about the city of Hazleton, thank-you. I live there, work there and pay taxes there. So you've gone from carrying a 9MM to a 45 mag. [EDIT] I love the line about how the ordinance isn't specific to just one nationality. Of course it's not. But..what sort of current immigration wave is Hazleton experiencing? A wave of Zulus?? Russians??? Vietnamese???? NO! The immigrants coming to Hazleton are hispanic, mostly from the carribbean. So yes, the ordinance is directed at EXACTLY one group of people. [**EDIT]

For Christ's sake, literally, don't we all know that? I don't even think that the term "thinly veiled" works here. That is why many of us loathe the ordinance, it's driven by hate and fear. Go back a hundred years; if the English, Scots, and Welsh could've stopped Irish, Italian, Slavic immigration, they would have, but they never wanted to do so, because those immigrants were a necessary evil, they dug coal, and they did it cheaply. If you want to slam my butt, go ahead; but it will be an Irish/Welsh/English butt you're slamming. My people were on both the giving and receiving end of things. In fact, my great-grandfather was killed in a mine collapse at Sandy Banks, which was the same mine that decades later would take the life of a gentleman named Jerry White, a story widely covered by the local media in 1982. I am sure many here will remember that.
 
If you're illegal, you're illegal. It does not matter what your country of origin is. Get a green card, and you're good to go. Why is that so difficult? No green card, and you're illegal. Wow, did this get off topic. Anyway, tener un gran día! ;D

I haven't heard anything on QFM about Christmas.. are they planning on surprising us or will they promote it as part of the designed by you concept, u know u asked for x-mas music so here it is?
