Looks like 106.9 WVEZ will flip to all Christmas music at 6 pm Halloween night. Will any other stations flip to all Christmas music this year?
 
That's over 24 hours later than last year (it was October 30th in the morning from what I remember). To be honest, I sort of expected them to flip a few days ago given the whole rule of "earlier every year."

100.5 or 102.3 ought to give it a try this year. I doubt they will but it could help both (even though I think even one going all Christmas music is too much for me).

I'm pretty sure that WJIE 88.5 and WAY-FM 104.3 / 105.9 will switch to all Christmas since they usually do.And they are Christian stations after all :)
 
I am sure Lexington's 94.5 will switch Saturday at some point. My guess during the football pre-game show, so they can promote it on WLAP/WBUL. Sometimes 96.9 is all Christmas every other year it seems.
 
100.5 should do it if nothing else just to boost ratings. Also there is a new boss at I heart media in Louisville, could other changes be coming?
 
Not so fast on 106.9! They're playing games with us and haven't gone Christmas yet, they've actually went to Halloween-themed songs as "Fright 106.9." I'm guessing they'll still do the Christmas flip later tonight or by the morning though.
 
Halloween music ends and they're not switching to Christmas music... instead they go back to regular music. That's a bit surprising. I wonder if they'll switch in the morning or if they'll hold off a bit longer.
 
I can't see any other station running Christmas music except for 100.5 MyFM... And in their case, I would use it to prepare for a new format after Christmas! Even with Vicki, that station is horrible.
They have a new Market President over there that might want to try and improve things over there.
 
I had a feeling today would be the "flip" today. They kept hinting yesterday that a "world famous guest" would be visiting Jeff and MJ this morning, I'm guessing it was Santa? Because I remember them using that "world famous guest" line last year and that is precisely who it was.

Anyway, off to remove 106.9 from my presets for a while... I can only take so much.
 
I guess Lite 106 9 and WAY-FM will be the only stations making the flip this Christmas season. I have heard WAKY drop in an occasional classic though.
