Christmas Music

"Happy Xmas (War is Over)" by John, Yoko and the Harlem Community Choir gets some play every year, but do any stations at holiday time play the Beatles' Christmas messages that they would send out to members of their "official" fan club every Christmas? Or even George's "Ding Dong Ding Dong" or Ringo's "I Wanna Be Santa Claus"?

I'll take all mentioned in the previous 'graph over Wings' "Wonderful Christmastime" which was Paul at his musically cheesiest, which he could get during the Wings era.

So many Christmas stations play Wonderful Christmastime every year. Most Christian stations don’t play John Lennon Xmas is over but all the secular ones do. I think for the CCM Christmas stations which secular songs they play may very on market and whether it is national or not. WAY FM is national but each station branded as The Fish is not. Each station branded as the Fish does their own mix whether it is Christmas time or not.

Here's Santa Sabbath Bloody Christmas, a remake of Black Sabbath tunes to Christmas. Note: It's actually pretty good:
ROFL !!!!! That is a riot. I about fell off my chair laughing. Something we will never hear on soft AC stations which bill themselves as "The Breeze." KOIT or "Sounds of the Season" will never play Death Metal Christmas. OMG. That is HILARIOUS. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

For several years, Easy 93.1 in New Jersey would flip the third week of October. Then they flipped to oldies in 2019

And yet they play "Sarajevo" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Then there's Festivus. Maybe radio stations should feature the 'airing of grievances' on December 23rd. Oh, wait I guess that's handled by right-wing talk radio five days a week, year-round.
Only five??
