Christmas Music

2021 iheart did Christmas 96.7 Atlanta’s. Christmas station.
And a few years back Cumulus put "Warm 98.9" on that translator before bringing back 99X.

I'm still surprised that that didn't happen this year with 99X now on 100.5.

Something needs to go on 98.9. Waste of a frequency when it overlaps 100.5. I figure it will change eventually. 99X is not advertised to be on 98.9 so I figure that was done so a change could be made at anytime without disruption. I see W255CJ is directional due east of Atlanta but WYRD eats it up in the morning just like WSSL eats up 100.5 in the morning.

I seem to be the only one who is not surprised that 99X is still on 98.9. Since they are “99X” and not “100X”, keeping it on 98.9 at least gets them close to being on 99 so there can be at least a little bit of accuracy in their name.

My wife was listening to KLove 106.7 this weekend and they were all Christmas so I guess you can get your Christmas Music Jazz fix on 100.1/101.1, and lots of CCM artists and standard secular Christmas on 104.7 and 106.7.

Its not the best for secular only folks but between these three presets above you should not have to listen to too much religious Christmas Tunes if that bothers you.

I also saw a billboard for Christmas music on 93.3 The Joy FM, so there’s another option for you.
