Christmas Number 1 In The UK: Rage Against The Machine! :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/singles/

Any Rage fans in here? You'll be surprised and pleased to know their 1993 anthem "Killing In The Name Of" is the Christmas number one for 2009, and it's all thanks to a little Facebook campaign.

Number 2 is a cover version of Miley Cyrus "The Climb" sung by the new X-Factor winner McElderry. The X-Factor is a UK Equivalent to American Idol, and its winners have consistently topped the UK charts in the past 4 years around Christmas. For more on this story, which seems to be all the rage (pardon the pun) with the media go to:

We need a revolt against manufactured pop music in this country as well! Kudos to the Brits!
