New Hampshire Christmas on Upper Valley radio

So far, the only holiday flip noted here about 10 miles south of Lebanon/Hanover/WRJ is WJJR Rutland, and that signal is scratchy here and gone once you get up to places like Thetford and Fairlee. In recent years, this area's Christmas go-to has been the WFYX/WHDQ-HD3/translators combo, but those stations now carry the adult rock/AC hybrid "Penguin" format. Will those Great Eastern stations flip, or is WGXL going to take over -- or will someone other than Great Eastern jump in?

Further south, WCNL Newport and its Claremont FM translator also go ho-ho-ho every year -- with a standard playlist, not country, for some reason -- but again, that leaves a major population center of the Upper Valley in a sort of Burl Ives/Nat King Cole/Wham! no-man's land.

Predictions -- or inside info -- anyone?

Did you mean HD-2? Was down that way about a month ago and the Penguin was on WHDQ-HD2. There wasn't an HD3.

TBH, not sure. I never listened to either the oldies "trimulcast" or the Penguin on HD, since the main signals of both are strong here. I remembered a WHDQ HD stream being mentioned in the legal ID for the oldies station(s), and it could have been HD2. I may have been assuming that both Kool and Penguin had HD simulcasts via WHDQ.
