One station is plenty and I wish that it was a station that I didn't listen to and, thus wouldn't miss. Such as Magic.
Hey here's an idea: why not all Christmas on WBOS instead of WROR? Judging from their ratings, it can only help! In the meantime, it'll be WBOQ for me.

WROR has updated its website to mention the change and some of the artists featured, and they claim to be "the most fun place" for Christmas songs. They plan to run it "all day and night through Christmas day."
nonsense if the listeners complain they will change back to normal programming

Would a steakhouse switch to turkey and dressing during the holidays? Would a clothing store start selling sleds? It's one thing to sell your stuff with a Christmas theme, but a classic rock station playing Mel Torme?
What does this do to the station for the long term?

Not as good of a fit format-wise, and it would send their listeners scrambling to their competition WXRV, which is exactly what they don't want to happen.
