Starting on Dec. 23, 1200 am seems to be stuck on low power with the IBAC hash generator off. I can hear the nice christmas songs on 1180AM without the constant ibac hash in the background.
 
Link, I heard the same thing you did. I am about 6 miles west of AM 1200's towers and I was picking up AM 1180 very clearly,
I wish I could hear the station all the time.
