Christmas Songs

I have been hearing a beautiful song that was played at 4:57 pm, ending at 5:00 PM, please advise the name and artist of that song. Many thanks for a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Thanks for your help.

Are you sure it was only 3 minutes? The only one I can think of anywhere, for which people consistently ask title and artist information runs almost 4-1/2 minutes in its entirety. That would be Christmas Canon, by The Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Good call Silkie.....great song and video as well

Speaking of Christmas songs..kudos to Magic for calling it Christmas music and not "holiday" music as they are, in fact, Christmas songs! Having said that, this is the genre that allows so much freedom. Would like to see them expand thier list. Every artist who ever was in a recording studio has produced a Christmas album. The only problem programmers run into is that although there is a wealth of material there are limited actual titles. Regardless, play 'em all. You don't need to have a 150 song playlist when programming Christmas music.

Thanks, but we still don't even know whether we have hit on it.

We need more information on the song. What station?
A lot of stations show their recent playlist on their website.

Being the poster said she was in "SW Florida," I would think she was listening to Sunny 106, though I don't believe WJPT is among the stations whose playlists are listed on Yes.com. And to make matters more confusing, Sunny 106 plays quite a few instrumentals even outside of the holiday season.

Being in "SW Florida" can also include "Santa 92.1" and "Magic 94.9" as well since both signals fly South into parts of the Ft. Myers area.
