Christmas stations you can get in the Lehigh Valley

Right now, you can pick up about five or six stations playing all Christmas depending on what part of the Lehigh Valley you're in. If you're in the eastern part of the LV, you can pick up Lite 106 from NYC. If you're in southern LV, you can pick up B 101 from Philly and WJBR from Wilmington. If you're in western LV, you can pick up WROZ from Lancaster. If you're in the northern LV, you can pick up the station from Scranton. And of course, you can pick up the LV's own Christmas station, WLEV, which is the point of this posting. Out of all those stations i mentioned, I have to say WLEV is the worst Christmas station. If this is supposed to help their ratings, wow, I don't see it happening. Their playlist is so short, and full of dumb novelty songs and weird Christmas remixes. I pull my hair out after listening for an hour, but I can easily listen to WBEB and WROZ's Christmas music for hours. Very disappointing for a station that needs this period to help their ratings.

B-101 is probably the best bet for Christmas music IMO. If I'm not mistaken WOGL goes Christmas in The next week or so like they did last year, if it happens again WOGL will have my #1 vote. Both station cover just about 100% of the bally with a listenable or strong signal.

Short Christmas lists do work---providing they're the right songs. B 101 year after year has a great Christmas product on the air. Perhaps WLEV's new PD will have it more together by next season.
