Christmas Wish

My Christmas wish

is to finally understand why stations can't WAIT to go all Christmas (which they do earlier and earlier every year) and then drop Christmas music at 6pm on Christmas Day. What happened? Did your listeners suddenly tire of Wham's "Last Christmas" at 6pm on 12/25? Got news for you -- they tired of it by November 25th. Why is a Christmas song acceptable just days after Halloween, but not while your listeners are exchanging presents at the mall the day after Christmas?

I wish people would quit complaining about stations that play the Christmas music and tune in another station ubtil the holiday is over
 
my wish would be ESPN Radio for Des Moines.

My wife is from near Iowa City (we currently live in the Chicago Area). So, she'd love it if I got a radio gig in Iowa City or Cedar Rapids.
