1) Gosh I hope you get it. That station should move MOST of its talk to the overnight, instead of flooding the (alternative) airwaves with left-wing drivel about 5+ hours a day. It's horrendous, but their PD once told me that those talk shows bring in more donations than any of the music hours. Pathetic. If they focussed on "info-tainment" and stopped running hours and hours of blah-blah-blah from mid-morning to mid-afternoon and again at dinnertime, they might actually broaden their listener base and community support. Sometimes I think the Left loves the sound of its own voice even more than the Right...

2) If this happens, may I suggest a segment called "Codgers In Codpieces"? It would be a theater-of-the-mind bit about elderly guys and gals letting it all hang out in thongs and bikinis (on a fashion runway with handrails). Could even have some musical numbers, a la Flanders and Swann. You owe me 50 cents.

1) I submitted a concept to MNF to do a talk call-in show focasing on HIV/AIDS and other "Information for your life" targeting the homeless and marginal people of Tampa Bay. Guess it was just too experimental for even MNF. Nebraska Ave. needs its own information guru.

2) Why WDUV doesn't add a nightime female personality like WENDY in the Medicare Info Booth ?

3) I am 'left" and I do love the sound of my own voice. Unfortunately it ain't pretty. Think Fran Drescher with a sinus infection ranting about the Mets.
