That's where it belongs!

You make it sound like it's a bad thing. At least you don't live in the Melbourne/ Palm Bay area where my parents live. There are three local stations that are all Christmas, WOSN,WLRQ & WQOL. Not to mention WMGF which can be picked up in most of that area too. Where is someone who may love Christmas, but not like to have that kind of music shoved down their throat for a month straight supposed to go for local radio?

Magic is in...

Mix has on line...where it DOES belong!

I will say that I do hear the Xmas music on Magic in a bunch of retailers last year and they do get that Phase 3 pop every year, but I'd have to slit my wrists if I had to program that crap for a month. Bah Humbug!

Yeah, I think I'd slit my wrists too if I had to put Burl Ives in hot rotation. :)<P ID="signature">______________

My feelings exactly. Magic could be off the air as far as I am concerned. And Jeff, when is Puddin or Olivia ever going to have me on their shows (as promised by "Puddin" last November for "National Recovery Month". December is World AIDS Month and as a worker and supervisor in both fields--( plus a great untested radio talent) , I need to be on a Clear Channel station to talk about my agency and what we do. You can even have be vt'ed from out of town. I am a lot funnier than Dave Mason and prettier too.

Sounds like Magic 94.9 is your "Official Christmas music station" again.

Besides being your official at work station
and still new

Yes, exactly! No one is going all "Christmas", however appears that all "Holiday" is happening...Heaven help us if we call it Christmas music!!

As is 105.5 WDUV -- was at a thrift shop this past Friday, and they too flipped to all-Christmas.

Don't know if it's fair to say that they're competing with 94.9, since Cox owns both.

It'll happen only if they include Chanukah, Kwanzaa and Ramadan songs in the mix. But until then -- it's still Christmas, no matter what you call it.

...all of this, which became all "old" very fast.
