WAPI's Richard Dixon has reported that his producer, Christopher Kane, has passed away at the age of 36. Details are not known at this time, but it appears he died in his sleep while in Chattanooga over the weekend.
Christopher worked at a few stations in Louisiana in addition to WAPI AM & FM, and also was on a country station in Anniston for a while doing mornings.
He was an effective foil and great creative partner for Dixon and will be sorely missed by us listeners. Condolences are being pass along both on air and on Richard Dixon's Facebook page.
