Christopher Rude's Cancer

Christopher Rude announced on The Rude Awakening that he is undergoing Chemo and soon-to-be Radiation on the head & neck cancer that he has been diagnosed with since June. He says that he is determined to beat the cancer because he has too many people depending on him. We all hope for the best fpr him.
 
Wow. Always happens to the good people. I remember when he was on the air in Jacksonville on Rock 105. I believe the show was called The Morning Zoo..one summer, they were doing the show from a winnebago that was being given away.

Hope the best for him, for sure.
 
Rodney mentioned it on his blog. 98 positive responses, no negatives. Is there any more universally liked on-air personality than Christopher Rude?
 
Yes we all hope and pray for the best for him and his family. Nascar driver Bobby Hamilton died from that a couple of years ago,they have since started offering screings for that at Nascar races including here at Atlanta Motorspeedwy.
 
I would say head and neck would be a different area than skin cancer, which is usually classified as dermatology.
 
They have started mentioning on The Rude Awakening that Christopher is on medical leave and will return when his condition improves. Sounds pretty serious to me.
 
I remember him with JD as the Morning Zoon on Rock 105 in Jacksonville....and then when I moved up here, it was Chris in the AM.
