CHRs in danger of being flipped

I have always thought that WHKF or WWKL in Harrisburg are on the chopping block but both seem to stick around. Now that the all 90's station in the market (WMHX) has started adding current CHR tracks, we'll see if one of them decides to flip...

WHKF needs to improve their signal dramatically they have a horrible signal they can barely make it into carisle even outside of there!

How exactly do you know, since you live in PA. Radio-Locator shows that it covers the Dayton area.

I don't live in PA at all or OH. I just know cuz Ive gone out to those areas and their signals didn't work. Just like in Reading,PA B104's signal doesn't work and FM 97's signal works.

WLAN's signal is huge. They actually cover more of the Harrisburg market than one of Harrisburg's own CHRs (WWKL -- which really doesn't make it to Carlisle at all, that might be what you're thinking of). WHKF and WWKL are both kind of crappy Class A "throwaway" signals that CC and Cumulus both use to protect their main moneymakers in the market (WRVV for Clear Channel and WNNK for Cumulus).

I 94 in Indy could be in Danger of flipping as is I-93 in Dallas.

WKSC/Chicago is also doing really poorly - it's 14th in its market, with a 3.1 rating, and it's getting killed by its Hot AC station

Kiss Chicago performs well in its targeted 18-34 demo, not to mention it's the highest cuming stations in Chicago.

Yeah, it's 14th using traditional ratings, and it's FIRST using PPM - does that mean almost every store and office has it on all day? ???

Actually I see that B96 is beating 103.5 KISS FM. B96 has a 3.8 while KISS has a 2.9. Used to be the other way around. There's no way CC will flip 103.5.

EDIT: It's 14th by PPM market share, and 1st by PPM Cume (someone on another board explained it to me lol)

CC could put 103.5 Kiss Fm as "Radio Now" as in Milwaukee. That is such a better branding name than "kiss fm". Soo yesterday

That's what they did for their new Memphis CHR.

I know. So maybe it could work in Chicago but considering Milwaukee is not far away, it is unlikely! But maybe. Hopefully we will have some unexpected things such as this happen! And yeah, B96 is sounding better but not great. They're mix shows top my list in front of WiLD 94.9!!
