Chuck Benfer's 'Award'

This is from an article in today's Poughkeepsie Journal. I am sure it will warm the hearts of many on this board [Sarcasm] . http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080219/BUSINESS/80218018
Chuck Benfer, of the radio group Cumulus Media’s Poughkeepsie operations, has won a national award, “Market Manager of the Year,” from the Radio Ink magazine’s Radio Wayne Awards program.
The award was presented Feb. 13 at a ceremony in Atlanta. Cumulus owns 11 stations in the mid-Hudson market.
I bet Chuck planted the story himself and it must not be a major award as I couldn’t find it on their site

So, you must be a fan of Chuck's.

Here's the link on their site by the way...

Sincere congratulations to Chuck Benfer.
Don't let the anonymous RANts of disgruntled former-employees of his on this board fool you. Chuck is a good man, and the honor is well-deserved.

Hmm is this an indication of the Pok Market?? YA THINK???? Maybe he's the only GM left who's not a temp replacement before the place changes hands.... ???
