Chuck Harder used to be on NYC radio?

Reading up on Chuck Harder (You know, the "For the People" guy).

It mentions he was once a "talk show host" in NYC.

Where and when did he work in NYC? It must have been a quick stint. I must have blinked and missed it.

Anyone know?
 
I think it was WMCA. (Under Salem, not the original talk format)

When he first started his "For the People" satellite network, there was a daily 2-hour hole where he fed a show to NYC. This would have been sometime in the mid-80s, maybe?

Chuck Harder did have a show on WMCA in the 80s around 1987. But it was not under Salem. Federal Broadcasting owned WMCA up until September 1989.

That's for clearing up the time Harder was on WMCA. I thought maybe he had time-brokered the show under Salem, but I guess not. He did buy time on shortwave radio to air the show.
 
Chuck Harder had some administrative role at TalkNet (recall Bruce Williams, The Dolans, Dara Wells, Dr. Harvey Reuben, Sally Jesse Raphael, etc.).
