What has happened to Crazy Al's show on Saturday Nights? I noticed that Hugh Hewitt was on this last Saturday evening, and no Rock N' Roll Oldies show with Crazy Al. Has it been cancelled, moved, or what? I have enjoyed this show since it first began on KNTH.

KRTX/Rosenberg also has an oldies show on Sunday mornings from 7a-12n that I enjoy regularly as well, however KRTX's signal isn't quite as good as KNTH's in my neck of the woods.

Crazy Al's show is now only one hour. His show is on at 4:30 Saturday afternoon and 5PM Sunday afternoon. Crazy Al's agency purchased the time. It was a monetary issue. One hour is far more affordable for them at this time. I am hoping for a change in the future.

Thanks for the info, Chuck. I'll know to tune in when it starts at 4:30 then. Is the Sunday show at 5 a repeat of the 4:30 show on Saturday, or will it be its own show?

Crazy Al is supposed to be two different hours.

I'm not sure of your neck of the woods, however as you can see the pattern is real tight. It protects WDIA Memphis to the northeast, KWEL Midland-Odessa to the northwest, KOPY Alice to the southwest, all on 1070. CW told me in a post a couple of years ago, that adjacent channels KNUZ 1090 Bellville and KCHN 1050 Brookshire are also in the way of an improvement to coverage.
