"Chuck's Last Call" taken off the air

I'm sure Chuck will bounce back and land on hs feet as he's done in the past.

Maybe putting his show on hiatus was a good idea.

Didn't someone else in the media get in trouble as well?

Kenny Crumpton also got busted for an OVI over the weekend.

STO is such an embarrassment. They stole "Beer money" from SNY in New York. Their "talent" crop makes the station look like it's in Toledo. The Indians pregame show is still in SD (in 2013) and the set looks like it's borrowed from a college television station. Ashley Collins has no business in a market this size, has gotten no better in 5 years on the air. Tee it up Ohio is actually a solid show, but it's farmed out to another production company because STO does literally nothing on it's own. Their studio shows for the MAC are laughable.

I certainly hope their affiliation with Fox Sports will legitimize the station and have it look like Comcast or other Fox Sports in other markets.

To some extent, I can see some criticism of STO. So "Beer Money" was "stolen" from SNY?..Seems to me any network could come up with a similar idea on their own. I'd like to see them freshen up the lineup a bit, with actual sports news shows, and some different talk hosts. I am sure as Fox Sports gets more involved with the network, you'll see more changes in lineup/philosophy..

As for Chuck & Kenny...sad to hear it.

With respect to STO's talent...and, really...most local TV & radio talent....you get what you're willing to pay for.

Thought Chuck's Last Call was actually a pretty fun show, lots of energy and didn't take itself too seriously, good combination for that time slot, it entertained me about as much as any radio talk show that is broadcast on TV could. Can't see it coming back after this latest incident, hopefully they find something similar to replace it with.

My vote for the most brutal thing about STO is Jason Stanford on the Indians pre/post game shows. For a former ball player he never gives you anything special as far as analysis is concerned. Every time I hear him give an opinion on something, its nothing different than any other run of the mill fan could have given.

Could FOX 8 replace Kenny? It would be a shame if they did. Hopefully, his co-workers are trying to go to bat for him.

Chuck and Kenny are 2 human beings before they are celebrities. Two drunks off the roads. No one goes to bat for you and I . Let them pay the consequences. Our streets are a tad safer...for now....

Well Jim, it looks FOX 8 really went to bat for Kenny. He's coming back on-air this Monday. Plus, if any of us goes through crap, there will always be people around to support and love us no matter what. My personal two cents.

We have heard this story surrounding drunk driving. Model citizen, church goer, loves his family, and loves his community. Model citizen kills family of 5 on their way to church from a night of binge drinking. All the support will not stop anyone who tries to break a habit of any sorts that harms him or others. This world is totally screwed up.

All that said, STO embarrasses FSN Ohio with their amount of local programming and overall commitment to the market. As a whole, all the FSN RSNs have a long way to go to catch Comcast's RSNs.
