CHUM Stations To Televise "Yule Log"

Last year, several CHUM-owned TV stations broadcast a Canadian version of the "Yule Log", video of a log burning in a fireplace with a soundtrack of Christmas music (the original "Yule Log" was produced by New York's WPIX-11 in 1966, was shown for many years, and after a hiatus of some years, has returned to that station).

I just checked (December 6th, 9 P.M. Eastern time) the websites of CHUM's television stations, and eleven of them will carry a "Yule Log" starting at either 6 A.M. or 7 A.M. local (depending on the station) until 10 A.M. local.

I could not find program listings for CKX Brandon beyond December 18th on their website, but it's possible they too will broadcast a "Yule Log" on Christmas morning.

I would imagine CKX will just show regular CBC programming from CBWT.
______________
From WNBC-TV New York this is Liiiiive at Fiiiiive!

Isn't CKX Brandon going to drop CBC and become an "A-Channel" station in the not-too-distant future??

WPIX syndicated the film loop of the Yule Log (which is actually just a repeating cycle of what was initially a 12 minute color film shot in 1965 of a fire in the main fireplace at New York's official mayor's residence, Gracie Mansion)...a lot of U.S. stations have used it at various times. I wonder if this is the same Yule Log film? WPIX would loop the film for up to four hours while segueing hours of instrumental and vocal holiday music selections on the soundtrack.

Anyone know if CHUM Ltd. is using WPIX's Yule Log film?
