CHWO AM740

I happened to listen to AM 740 on the way to work tonight and even though the signal had to fight with KRMG 740 Tulsa I thought that CHWO sounded fantastic. Lots of really great music which in the car had that big rich AM sound that I remembered. Not FM but certainly not bad. I wonder if they use the same NRSC audio standards that we have here?

IMHO we could use a couple of stations in the states like CHWO. Alas I'm dreaming!

Yeah, they have quite the programming lineup on CHWO. Hard to find fault with what they do for the standards format.

AM 740 is a very good Standards station, minus one Gentleman, unfortunantly. (See Toronto board.)
