Well, I hope they can still keep the music going after 7PM! The same holds true for WSM Nashville, TN should they pursue a similar strategy.Yeziknoradio said:klutch00 said:I'm wondering if this means a format change in the works.
Not an immediate change, but indeed a tweaking.
Starting this Monday August 11, the music stops for 3 hours to make room for a new talk show from 10AM-1PM.
It'll be interesting to see what direction things go from there...

If they do that, I hope Friday night is NOT one of the nights for consideration. I say Sunday or Monday would be most ideal.Yeziknoradio said:klutch00 said:Well, I hope they can still keep the music going after 7PM! The same holds true for WSM Nashville, TN should they pursue a similar strategy.
It is to my understanding that, although the (evening) music will most likely continue, there is a plan to replace some of the evening programming with old time radio shows...

My job involves sitting at a computer all day where I edit photographs for publication and CHWO WAS truly a great station. Now, they have cut up the day with talk and started to use a lot of Voice Tracking (1-2 PM) which I personally can't stand.
Bye-Bye CHWO (or CFZM). You've lost at least one listener with these changes. I have found another on-line station to pass my time.
