Cielo Fm

K202EP doesn't come up on any of the usual databases. Any idea of where the transmitter is located? KAFR listeners won't be happy, though that station's Harris County coverage is rather poor.

Same here, been looking everywhere online and there is no info about it. And this image 713+ uploaded says 88.1. i caught 88.3 FM close to Downtown and started losing signal as I reached Airline and Little York.

Just checked on the car radio...am still hearing KAFR at my Cy-Fair location but it sounds like there is another station underneath providing slight interference.

Six watts on 88.3 from a tall Missouri City stick. Will eat into KAFR’s southern fringe, though south of I-10 the KAFR signal is already quite poor, as it is a short stick C1 just north of Willis.

This morning I was listening and this lady said like in a commercial.
Here on Cielo FM 92.5. So it’s rebroadcasting from somewhere else? Anyone know where?

Just wanted to mention that I noticed yesterday that the RDS for KJHJ said Cielo FM 107.3 but it’s on 102.5. It is on the same tower as KCVE 107.3 and they’re playing La Nueva. KCVE has to be overpowered (like their 94.1 and 96.1) and under modulated.

I did a few checks of 88.3 on my commute home last night. Inside the loop K202EP dominates the frequency. Along 290 the translator continues to dominate, but I could hear KAFR fighting to get through. Along the Beltway north of 290 KAFR takes over, but I could still hear K202EP trying to break through.

So it appears KAFR has now lost whatever Harris County coverage it once had.

I noticed the other day that the 88.3 translator was broadcasting 88.1 KFTG
