CINCINNATI IN THE CHILL?

Aha! In doing a little research, which is what I do best, since I am a consultant and all....I got a bit of information regarding 96.5 in a dumpster diving frenzy on my trip to Cincinnati last weekend.

Someone passed me a piece of paper that had come directly stuck to some other documents that said Cumulus on them.

On the piece of paper...someone had scribbled about thirty different logos on there that had

96.5 THE RIVER (of course with a cool looking little exclamation point beside the r in River)
THE CHILL OF CINCINNATI

Oh an look at this, a sample Selector paper with the call letters WPRV. I see artists like

JANET JACKSON
DESREE
RICK ASTLEY
NELLY FURTADO

Hmmm...wonder what all this stuff is about

Why is everyone on these boards so fixated on Movin'? It's just another format - and a highly unlikely pick for the replacement that ends up on 96.5. Movin' is not a free format; it's licensed - and Cumulus' Cincinnati team has plenty of talent. Look for a hits oriented station that can ramp up its billing quickly to replace the revenue that was lost with the sale of Mojo.

Ever consider that what was found in the dumpster dive could have been purposely misleading?
