Telemundo’s KULX Salt Lake City (DMA 30) has appointed Cindy Bernal news anchor for the station’s weekday 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Beginning Dec. 16, Bernal will join weather anchor Lorena Lim, Sports anchor Enrique Corona and reporter Rudy Nieves.
Bernal joins KULX after two years at Telemundo’s WNEU Boston where she was a reporter and fill-in anchor for the Noticiero Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra newscast. Previously, Bernal worked as a reporter at Estrella TV in Los Angeles where she won two Golden Mikes from RTNA of Southern California.
