On Wednesday the 27th, tune in at 2:30 p.m. (note the earlier start time) for "The Diversity Rest Stop" interview program, this week sitting down with trumpet superstar Cindy Bradley! Playing a mainly male-dominated genre of music (jazz) not to mention a mainly male-dominated instrument (trumpet), Cindy has defied all odds and has released her third contemporary jazz album "Unscripted," an album that is currently soaring on the jazz charts. Much of the instrumental material that is inspiration for this album was from some trying times Cindy experienced in her personal life including the break-up of a relationship and both her grandmother and mother being diagnosed with cancer. From upbeat, speed-on-down the highway kind of tracks to more low-key, introspective tracks, "Unscripted" as it all.
