I thought it might be a good time to acknowledge Cindy Pace's long stint at the helm of KPLN's middays. I'm guessing she held that job for perhaps eight years and always did a great job at it. <img src="http://www.planetfmvip.com/content/data/cindy/cindy_l.jpg" align="right" border="0">

She and McInnes (who himself has set records for longevity in a radio job) were much better than the radio station and it is a shame they are unemployed while some of the lame-arse programmers who were responsible for the mediocre programming of 103.7 are still there.

It would be nice if there is still a place on the San Diego airwaves for Cindy and Jim.

Star 94.1?

After all, she WAS on Star when it first debuted, and, Bob Bolinger,her old boss is the set director (so to speak) of 94.1. She'd fit in there like a hand into a glove!

Good thought, but what about Cindy Spicer? She's a good air talent too. That leaves (automated) weekends and fill-ins... not much of a way to make a living.

But I bet Bob could find a spot for her elsewhere within the San Diego Clear Channel empire...

While very beautiful midday goddess Cindy S. is the only other link to the original Q106, I believe she is now voice tracked form Texas (Dallas?)

So, Cindy P. would be a good fit IMHO for a more local feel.
But you're obsevation is a valid one!

Actually, Cindy S. is based in San Diego. She voicetracks the midday show on Star, and does a mostly live airshift on KUSS...
