Cindy & Ray

Is it just me or does Cindy and Ray's show seem to sound very mechanical? Same schtick each day, same time each day, same topics each day. It's getting boring. Comments?

It is the same thing pretty much. I find it fairly boring, but if you like the format of the show then I don't really see a problem with it.

Every time I listen to them I get mad. It really shows how bad Atlanta radio really is right now. Honestly, there is NOTHING to listen to in the afternoon. Dylan? Ewww... Jennifer Reed? The dude on DaveFM? I don't even know his name. The Stews? HOLLA! Yuck... Buck and Kincade are ok, but really, why don't we have a afternoon "SHOW" in this market?
At least Kaidy (sp) was a pro, Rude in the afternoon was fun, Chris and Nick were great, hell, even Southside And Rhodes were entertaining compared to what we have right now. It's no wonder people want O and A is this area. At least you can listen to their replay on the way home from work. This market stinks when it comes to radio "SHOWS."

If I were "JT" on 94.9, I'd be very insulted by that remark.

SHOWS no longer exist! Most everybody in radio these days is either trying to shock the audience (no talent), or hoping their voice and delivery carries through to the audience (poor use of talent), OR radio station programmers and consultants are way too busy trying to use information from a few select focus groups that have a wino and drug user population of 75% or better. In short, nobody knows HOW TO ENTERTAIN without resorting to crude language, vulgar and insulting bits or stupid prep services that just recycle the same garbage each week. In short, how many times can one make fun of the president, talk somebody into leaving work to go home and fool around with their significant other (God, how I hate being PC!) or push the envelope with crass words about somebody's butt and other words I will not use here.

Radio will not recover until somebody discovers they can make more money the old fashioned way...with pure and simple family entertainment.

That's my opinion...ought to be yours! :'(
