Cindy Scull is back on The Eagle doing weekend middays.

Lex and Terry keep me away mornings.

I like Cindy. She did well at ZPS; not so much at KDBN.

Cindy is OK but when robert is added in it all goes down the toilet. I remember when she started afternoons on the eagle all those years ago. She had a good show then robert destroyed it. Hopefully she will go it solo this time.

I agree. Cindy is way cool...and a staple in this business/market. She's likeable to both men and women. Robert, in my opinion, was never major market talent. He sortof lucked into that position with Scull- and then came across as a know-it-all. Nice guy, but Cindy has earned the right to be more picky when it comes to picking a partner.

...this will be very interesting to watch...scull and robert miguel and i were pretty tight buds when we all worked together at the eagle in the mid to late 90's...the spring of 1996, i was working for a lite a/c in tyler, texas, and used to listen to the eagle all the time...that spring, a friend and i were travelling to dfw to see the old cartoon/sci-fi adventure, HEAVY METAL, and listeing to the eagle on the way in...at this time, howard was still the morning show for the eagle and gary delabate' and jackie "the jokeman" martling were in town for the st. pattie's day parade the next day and hanging on the air with cindy...my friend that was with me were talking about the eagle and i told him it would be my dream station to work for...i felt like i was light years from their calibre, but, as luck would have it, i lost my gig in tyler, by the end of the month and was working for a hot active rocker in shreveport, louisiana...ironically enough, one of their weekday jocks was a weekender for the eagle...i worked a lot that summer for the station in shreveport, and honed my on-air chops much to the notice of my co-worker and the next fall, i got my shot at the eagle as a weekender/part-timer/fill-in jock...1996 was magic...i got to stay at the eagle 5 years before i was released, so, i came home to east texas in january of 2002 to take care of my then 85 year old father...since then, i have watched all of my old colleagues from the eagle work around the metroples, but, gradually, they all came back...if i got the chance to go back, would i do it?...are you F-ing nuts!?!?!?!?...in a heartbeat...my worst day on the air for the eagle equalled or bettered my best day in normal life...as time would have it, i lost my dad the end of june 2007 and have been in limbo since then...cindy, robert and jeff and i kept in touch while they all worked at the bone and now this...absolutely wonderful how time has a way of making everything right...now, all i have to do is get a gig there, too...who knows, stranger things have happened...i have fulfilled my love debt to my dad...he left me taken care of pretty well...i am not rich, but, i have a house i could get roughly 150K for, so, that would be a nice nest egg to use for a move back to big D should the radio GODZ smile down upon me once again...all i know is i still have the desire, the chutzpah and the intelligence to fit right back in...much love and peace to all--"i'm dave clayton and you're not!!!!!

Dave Clayton....what the hell was that? it was like reading a stream of consciousness from Gary Busey on "Celebrity Rehab" whew! I need to take a breath after reading that...

Sort of like a meth rant. I hope that inheritance lasts.

When and how, if I may ask, did you become so familiar with the subtle charms of a meth rant?

Or the rant of someone so passionate about the business of radio.

Take your money Dave and find another passion...this business is now a waste of your time and talent. Good luck to you and yours.

Ellipsis are not now, nor will they ever be, a substitute for a period.

I know there's a difference between an ellipsis and a period because nobody gets all alarmed when you skip an ellipsis.

LOL, great line, you should be on the radio!!!

Not with those elliptical lips and ellipsis lisp.
fast...3x....please....thank you.

Robert Miguel is the biggest SPARE in radio land! He has no respect for his co-workers and, when I worked with him, bragged about HIS and Cindy's show on the Eagle.
