dear god...pugs & kelly are terrible. Why any PD in DFW would be stupid enough to hire them after their stint at Live is beyond me. We're in Market #5 for pete's sake! You have your pick of just about any talent in America, and you're going with Pugs and Kelly?!?!? Why pay someone 200-300K for them to read the news straight from their prep service. Could they possibly try to come up with a bit once in a while?

As far as Eagle mornings go, Lex and Terry have already failed once in DFW and anything would be better than their mindless puke ...

That's not good either, but pugs & Kelly shouldn't be anywhere near the top 30-40 markets! They might work out on a news/talk station, but a morning show on a music station is supposed to be humorous, and pugs & Kelly are not.
Anyone remeber about 2.5 years ago when he faked a death threat against himself? He had his staff record threatning messages and then went on air about being sent animal parts (yeah right). Then, out of nowhere....he just stopped talking about it. About 9 months later, whaddya know-the EXACT SAME bit starts up again and then goes away as quickly and quitely as the first.Albert19X said:

When the story broke about the kid taking laced cookies to police departments (before they knew they weren't laced) I heard that idiot Robert Miguel say he admired the kid. Ya its so funny and awsome that some kid is trying to give cops LSD. I bet he would not think it was funny if he was calling 911 that same day. Or if he was laying in the street bleeding because of a car wreck that can't be responded to.
I know the kid was cleared of charges and this did not happen, but it was Miguel's response that drove me nuts. I agree he is a tool but Cindy Scull seems like she could find a much better partner. I don't mind her.

They did not "walk away" from The Bone. Their one year deal was done. They got the dignity of a last show, but they were told it was done. There's no big gig waiting in the wings
