From AllAccess: "CINGULAR WIRELESS is now offering a 40 channel commercial-free radio service through its mobile phones, using channels provided by MUSIC CHOICE and MOBITV."
So, is this going to be the next XM or Sirius? Are we going to start seeing things like: "{Popular syndicated talk radio host} leaves {Westwood One/ABC/Premiere} to become the morning man on Cingular Radio's(?) new 'Extreme Talk Radio' channel."
Any thoughts? Would the audio quality be decent, or would it just be like "listening over a phone line"? I don't see anything about it on the Cingular website.
Do they need to now add yet ANOTHER band to my car radio? "AM/FM/XM/Sirius/Wireless"
(Although, I imagine it will eventually ALL just be offered over the wireless networks.)<P ID="signature">______________
