CITADEL CHR's

With Citadel likely being sold to Cumulus, these stations run the risk of being micromanaged by Jan Jeffries:

WSSX/Charleston
KLAL/Little Rock
KKOB/Albuquerque
KSMB/Lafayette
KHOP/Modesto
WFHN/New Bedford
WJBQ/Portland
WNTQ/Syracuse
WBHT/Scranton & Wilkes-Barre

While a lot of the Cumulus and Citadel properties are both known for being conservative and adult leaning, I find some of these Citadel stations to be much more unique.

^I wonder if Cumulus will let KLAL and KHOP continue with their Alt/Rock-lean - I know Cumulus has a history of liking pop/rock, but it tends to lean towards older, more conservative pop/rock, rather than cutting-edge stuff like KLAL/KHOP do

Agree that right now KLAL is one of the most unique CHRs in the country, and it's doing extremely well, so I'm hoping they don't change it

Chances are that could happen, since those stations will fit in easily with Cumulus' Top 40/CHR platform. However, one has to wonder about WFHN and will it continue to be "Fun" after the merger.

If Jan Jefferies would even consider changing Fun 107, he'd be the most ignorant broadcaster ever. Has he ever even met a Portuguese person?

Yeah you'd think heritage would stop him, right? But look at KRBE.
