Citadel hiring in Worcester

I was cruising through some station websites and noticed that both WXLO and WORC (Oldies 98-9) have new people for nights although I don't know how long they've been on-air.

WXLO has a woman named Nancy Hall covering 7pm-10pm and WORC/Oldies 98-9 has a guy named Matt Majikas also covering 7pm-10pm.

That shift at both stations was once covered by production director AJ Crozby who was let go last fall.

A search of Citadel Radio stations reveals there's a Nancy Hall
doing the 1pm to 5pm shift on Q105 in New London, CT. It
doesn't seem likely that she would drive all the way to Worcester
for just a 3 hour shift, so I'm guessing she sends tracks from her
home studio.
According to the WORC-FM website, Matt Majikas is also the stadium
announcer for the Tornadoes, Worcester's minor league baseball team.

Oh, I don't know. There's nothing like downtown Worcester on a Sunday night. ::) ;D I keed, I keed. I live 5 minutes from there. :D

Any job at a Citadel station should be considered temporary. The company
is trading for a nickel a share. Experts say it will file for bankruptcy protection
within the year. And they pay slave wages. You'd be better off taking a
job as a bagger at your nearest Stop N Shop.

WORC FM is actually from Webster, MA but it's still very far from New London. I also live 10 minutes from swinging downtown Worcester.

WORC-FM was originally in Webster but now in downtown Worcester. It's been there since shortly after Citadel purchased the station. WXLO-FM 104.5, Worcester's Pike 100.1 FM, and WORC-FM Oldies 98.9 all share the same space on the 5th floor of the Winsor Building at 250 Commercial Street downtown.

I didn't know that, thank you. Where are the transmitters located? I work in Southbridge and it's the only FM that will penetrate the building. They've got to be close to Webster or Southbridge somewhere.

Adam Webster, who does his own morning show on Oldies 98-9 and also the live news updates (and some taped ones) for The Pike, has mentioned once or twice that he runs from studio to studio in the building.

Not sure, but I think the actual transmitter location is in Dudley, MA.
