Visiting with some freinds in Texas who have a couple of stations running off CMN music programming. Anyone else having trouble with low or no signal tonight???? Noticed another nearby markets ESPN Radio affiliate is having drop outs tonight too.

Citadel Media Networks Outage???

I just checked my Citadel receiver and have normal eb/no numbers.
Things are back to normal now. About an hour ago it was haywire.
FYI
On 7/20/10 at about 2:17 pm EDT we lost our Clear Channel carriers completely in SW Florida. The Citadel and West Wood one carriers remained up but slightly lower than they normally come in.
I called CC satelite control and they said they had no other reports. I explained I had lost only the CC carriers ( Timeless Cool and Florida News network ) as we were speaking the two receivers came back to life. CC said they had bumped the carrier up link up by one DB. EBNO was only about 3 on both receivers but slowly over a six hour or so period they climbed to 4.7. That may seem low to anyone outside of South Florida but the reason is here we have interferrence from AWAKS ( flying radar planes operated by the Air Force to watch Cubs ) These cause the signal to drop out for a second about every ten to twenty seconds. Consequently, everybody runs notch filters on their LNBs to keep it out but at the expense of signal level.
Usually an XDS receiver like we use can stay as low as 3. EBNO before trouble starts. It is VERY interesting to hear that I'm not the only guy having sat problems as of late. I'd like to hear more about similar outages. Again, We didn't loose Citadel or West Wood only Clear Channel.
