Citadel new updated website

Still no streaming possibility's outside the US. All of Cumulus radiostations are available all over the world, but the old Citadel stations like PLJ is not available outside the US. #shame

If you go to Citadel's website, it will redirect to the Cumulus website. Cumulus is the first company outside of Clear Channel that takes over the Citadel stations including WABC and WPLJ. In the past, it was ABC Radio, Disney, and then Citadel. But now Cumulus is the next big thing. In addition to the two NYC stations that Cumulus now owns, it owns many of the stations in the Hudson Valley including WPDH, WKXP & WZAD's "The Wolf", WCZX's "Mix 97" and WRRV & WRRB are the 6 stations in the HV listening area outside of New York City as well as the three AM stations are WALL, WEOK where they both carrying Scott Shannon's "True Oldies Channel" and WKNY. That brings to a total of 9 stations that Cumulus owns and two big NYC stations that now owns are WABC and WPLJ.

I was listening towards the top of the hour that WABC mentions "A Cumulus Media Station" or shall they call it "A Cumulus Broadcasting of New York Station". That fits really well.

Keep in mind that, unless their M.O. has suddenly changed, Cumulus will be moving the Citadel stations to their own streaming platform before long. They usually move pretty quickly.

If you want to hear PLJ overseas, download the JAM jingles, pick 30 bad records from the last 30 years and overload the input to your stereo. Presto!

Where can I find the new streams? It's still streamtheworld.com on plj.com b.t.w. Still not on this list: http://www.cumulus.com/StreamingStationMap.aspx

That's probably where you'll find them when they migrate over. They just haven't migrated yet. Once they do, you should be able to get them at mms://live.cumulusstreaming.com/[CALL-LETTERS]-[AM or FM]. HD multicasts, by the way, are either "-H2" or "-H3" if any of those become available. Cumulus centralizes as much of their operation as they can, and they're predictable. Like I said, I wouldn't expect it to take very long. I'm actually surprised so little happened Friday at the ex-Citadel stations.

Ok, thanks. Maybe next week they migrated.

Am I the only one that thought they would have already had a unified site put together? I thought the Dickeys would already have some large map together that had all of the stations of the unified company listed. Right now Citadelbroadcasting.com just has the Cumulus name on it and lists the old Citadel stations, and Cumulus.com just lists the old Cumulus stations. Of course, though, Cumulus's corporate site is pretty disappointing...the one they had a couple of years ago, though, was way worse.

I predict before long the Citadel stations will use the typical Cumulus website template. However, some of the Cumulus websites in smaller markets are designed by InterTech. I bet the MediaSpan sites are pretty expensive. Shame, because they are pretty nice looking sites.

Still the Citadel streaming facilities, don't find the new mms://cumulusstreaming.com//[CALL-LETTERS]-[AM or FM] yet.
