Does anyone know anything about the firing of Jim Dorman over at Citadel?? I just found out about it and it supposedly happened three weeks ago. What does THAT tell you??????
 
It was in Mary Onderko's Voice column on Saturday. First I heard of it. One of thousands to pass those portals.

Well, a guy I know who works up there said NOBODY'S talking about it. The impression I got from him is that Dorman was a record pig they hired because of his connections in the industry. He was able to get promotional stuff, but the ratings dropped even lower than before he came. Also it was mentioned that he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I never thought this market could support more than one country station anyway---look how many times it's been tried. Part of the problem was with the corporation as well...my friend told me the home office in Vegas cut 90% of their promotions budget.
