Citadel selling stations

They paid 100 million for the Barnstable cluster.
With the exception of KIX & RBO, do you think they are getting their return on investment.
Is Max making money? Is Kim making money. Is RBO making money for that matter.

The answer would probably be no. Sell them to Entercom, they like to buy losers.

citidel not likely to sell cash cow like wivk. bills over million dollars per month one of their best performers in net. birmingham might be on block very poor situation there now.

Or, the opposite might be true. In some circles, it makes sense to sell your winners, and keep your losers. WIVK is a mature property that, while a cash machine, is topped out. It has maximized its value. Other markets, like Birmingham, are undervalued, and would bring no premium on investment at this time.

Further, we don't know Citadel's basis in these properties, so there are tax questions to be answered. This is a much more complicated question than it may appear on the surface. I'll leave it to the suits to work this one out.
