Citadel Sends WLNE GM Packing

B&C reports WLNE's general manager Steve Doerr is being shown the door by new ownership "after 3 1/2 years atop WLNE" - with "atop WLNE" being somewhat of an oxymoron, I'm sure.

No offense and I feel bad that he lost his job.Citadel is doing right thing in this case.Starting off fresh.I know the economy has sucked for the the past three years but something has to to give here.
The station has been staying on air while banckrupt and maintaining it's staff.I give him credit with that. They lost alot of syndication programs, almost lost thier network affiliation with ABC.On this route they would be airing only informercials and newscasts.
Citadel is comming in without a second to waste.

Maybe we shold bring in Wierd Al to produce a new version of "Stanley Spadowski's Playhouse".Replace Alexander Allison with Fran Drescher.Replace Mark Curtis on the "YOU PAID FOR IT" segmant with the mad scientist in the movie to slip politicians spiked drinks that make them tell the truth.
Sorry, My mind was just wandering...
