Citadel sues Lawley

Citadel isn't suing Lawley over the purchase of the Fresno cluster. Citadel is suing Lawley over "trade secrets" in Boise. It really has nothing to do with the Fresno stations.

Call it "loyality" or call it "pirate-ing."

What he did there--by hiring former Citidel employees for his new company--was typical of this business. Not ethical but typical. Sad really. He did the same thing when coming from CC in Tucson to Citidel.

I'm not sure it really is Unethical. When you work with good people and you know they have good work habits, is there really anything wrong with offering them a position with the company?

I agree with lamey...I hope he comes out of this ok.
Lawley's a good guy! He's the type of person that rewards hard-working people, and likes to be surrounded by them. People follow him for a reason.
I've noticed that in radio, the people in charge are always offended and often-times angered when someone leaves for another station. It's like they don't want people to grow and succeed. No one wants a stagnant career, right?
