Citadel to Spin old ABC properties as part of Chptr 11 restructure

I would like Cumulus to use the money to go private. I think that's the right thing for radio companies to do now. There's no advantage for any radio (including Sirius) to be in the stock market. It's being driven by technology, and radio isn't seen as a technology stock.

As for Farid and Lew, it doesn't matter. If the banks want Citadel to sell to Lew, and the money is right, that's what they will do. They own the company now.

You are spot on, Big A.

ABC wanted to sell their radio properties a couple of years ago. Cummulus Atlanta's offices are on Johnson ferry Road so if they bought Kicks and true Oldies they wouldn't have to move to far. I found out that Kicks studios were once in the same building as the Weather Channel.

We were never in the same building as the Weather Channel. We were in building 310 near the Weather Channel. Now we are in building 210. I was the last person to broadcast from the old building on Kicks before the switch.

I thought that was wrong I used to work in building 280 but worked out in 310 during lunch so I knew the studios were there. I thought TWC was always across the street where they are now. They have finally put signage on the building letting people know they are there.
