Citadel...

I don't follow these things closely, but I do like to read the board and read the opinions of folks who do...

So, with that in mind. If Citadel goes into bankruptcy, just in theory, what does everyone think would happen to PLJ?
Would people stay on, get canned, or nothing changes at all?

Since ABC is still part owner and doesn't want even a distant association with disaster, they'd probably pick up the pieces cheap and sell it again leaving everything intact.

I don't believe that ABC is a part owner / shareholder of Citadel. Disney shareholders got 57% of Citadel in exchange for their radio stations.

Newsperson responds:

Yes so that makes it a totally seperate company even though some of the same people own the stock.

In San Francisco even ABC owned KMKY 1310 moved out from under KGO and KSFO radio.

If Citadel file chapter 11 they ae on their own.

One of my buddies is a Disney shareholder, and he is not a happy guy these days.

The hell with your friend! Tell him to go invest in WIDGETS
