CIVT CTV BC and King 5 olympics games

At least NBC pulled their heads out of their rear ends and showed the gold medal hockey game live. It was going to be delayed.

They made up for it though by running the closing cermony on Delay ... including DUMPING out of it to air an aweful new show their pushing then running the last bit of the closing after the 11:30 pm newscast..

I'll let you guys in on something. The East Coast didn't actually see the Closing Ceremonies Live, either. NBC put it on a 3-5 minute digital delay for their own reasons - and not necessarily to protect themselves from the fleeting expletive. Quite a few people noticed that based on a facebook feed I saw on the VANOC site.

CTV, on the other hand, was 100% Live all the way to the bitter end.

(BTW: That "pee in the snow" stuff I could have done without.)
