CJPT 103.7 Bob FM Drifting onto 103.9

Is anybody else within the reception area of CJPT noticing how bad it's audio is drifting onto 103.9. I've noticed it getting worse in recent months, even when I have a pretty weak signal on 103.7 it can still be heard on 103.9.

Yes, spunker, I've certainly been noticing it. It has been going on for some time and it eats into any potential finds on 103.9 :p.

Speaking of finds. Over on 104.9, CFJR was knocked out for a few hours this after noon/evening (T-storms in the area), though sister CJPT remained on air. CIMY (myFM) Pembroke ON and CJLA (Planète Lov) Lachute QC, were fighting for air space. Both of these I should be hearing up in Ottawa, but this is the first I've heard of them in this area.

I notice it on all my tuners even when the signal from 103.7 is weak it can still be heard on 103.9. I'm surprised nobody from the station has noticed this or received a complaint.

I have been testing for the last few weeks and on the F1HD I'm not getting 103.7 CJPT on 103.9 now I have been getting "Love Radio" Christian radio and a station form Rochester WDKX 103.9 . Spunker88 are you still getting 103.7 on 103.9?

Last time I checked the drift on 103.9 had gone, but 103.7 didn't seem as stong as usual either. This could have been from tropo or perhaps they have moved to a backup transmitter. Although they don't have the best signal in my direction, I think they have to protect WVOA 103.9 Love Radio Mexico, NY. That is the other station you are hearing. 104.9 JR-FM seems to do much better here despite having a lower ERP.

Yes, I noticed a day or two ago, that the 'drift' appears to be fixed.

CJPT is a local (very local) to me, so I don't notice any degradation in the signal. However, I can pull in CBBP (Peterborough ON) and CIME (St-Jérôme QC) on 103.9, without neighbouring 'Bob' bleeding all over that frequency.

On the Via train there's still little pockets where you'll find the leakage into 103.9 FM.
