Well, I was asked to run an errand earlier tonight so I went to the car to pick up the necessary item to deliver on foot and decided to spend a few minutes checking out the higher ends of the AM band (our car is a Pontiac G6). Picked up CKDO AM 1580 Oshawa, Ontario, which is 10,000 watts Class “A” and I did hear the calls, but had to hear it again a few moments after, plus doing an Gooogle check of the frequency to make sure everything matched. It did.

Another thing, there was something on 650 but I didn’t have enough time to stay with it long enough to figure out what it was, so that'll be a future assignment for me. Could be CKGA, could be WSM, could be something else not previously known to me, could also be splatter from either 640 CBN or 660 WFAN (those two have been logged before).
