Well, I was setting up the tape recorder to record AM 890 of the foreign language and I somehow fidget with the dial on the older Walkman, with the end result being...

CKNX AM 920 Wingham, Ontario (you'll be surprised how much night power it has and how far it was able to travel to here in Port aux Basques!) and I used to get CJCH Halifax all time time until the switch to FM in '08.

By the way, I will record AM 890 as soon as I can get a decent enough signal and post some audio of that later.
 
Nice snag of CKNX! Regarding your "AM 890 of the foreign language", is it in Spanish? If so, it could very well be WAMG "La Nueva Mega", out of Dedham, Mass.

Had trouble getting a recording made of it tonight. Will try again later this week. I'm pretty sure once I post the audio successfully we'll get a definite answer.
