CKWW 580: power increase or pattern change lately?

Was wondering if anybody knows if CKWW has changed their power or antenna pattern in the past few months?

For the past 3 or 4 weeks I've noticed I can hear CKWW in the daytime. Not a great signal, but listenable.

The last couple years I got NOTHING on 580 in the daytime unless I was up near Sandusky (on Lake Erie). Years ago CKWW's signal was similar to what it now is. Wondering if they've made any signal/power changes lately.

I live in NE Ohio (about 25 miles south of Cleveland).

I live near Ann Arbor (west of Detroit) and I have noticed the same thing... CKWW seems to be much stronger than it used to be. Heading north on US-23, it will actually stop the Scan/Seek on my car radio, which it would never do before. I'm not complaining, anything that can make their oldies format easier to hear over the air is fine with me.

Not a bad idea. I actually caught 1550 clear as a bell while I was up north in Petoskey this past weekend. I used to enjoy DXing CFCO on vacation in northern Michigan when they played oldies as well.
