Clapprood

Don't think Margorie would want to come back to RKO.
It is a sinking station and Kahn and Wolfe would immediately try to marginalize her as a token woman and token liberal.

Would rather see her back on television.

She back in '94 or so, she did a pilot at Channel 5 and I was able to be in the audience, they shot 2 type shows, one Leno/Letterman/O'Brien style (Celeb guests) and another "Oprah" style. A one on one feel to it. "real people" issues.

It was good, I wish it got picked up.

It was picked up, I am pretty sure it was on Lifetime on Sunday nights.

Yes, it was on Lifetime--so for awhile you had TWO big-haired raspy voiced women named Marge on
Sunday night TV. (The other being Mrs. Homer Simpson)

Howie used to have an intro with a song that had lyrics kinda like this:
(there was a line referring to Clapprood and then):
"Her ratings are so low,
More people watch the NASA Channel
Howie Carr Sho-ow, on 'RKO..."

I used to listen to 'RKO religously back in "da day" of Clapprood and Whitley/Company, Katz & McCarthy and Two Chicks. I do remember that Marjorie and Howie weren't exactly on each other's Christmas lists.
